I’ve been getting some spam phone calls for quite some time. Finally having reached the limit of my patience I called Bell Canada to get the caller blocked and so an arrangement was made with Bell they would supply me with a call blocker thingy activated within 2 hours of our conversation. Well my spammer kept on calling and I couldn’t block him because Bell inadvertently forgot to activate the function I am now paying for. Finally today I decided to make the best of the situation and since I have caller ID I thought it only polite to call him back – several times. (with more to come)
Not just any call mind you oh of course not. Since he also must have caller ID I would get his answering machine so with the proper introduction of how I would utilize the following conversations of which there would be many I proceeded to tell him how things went at work. How the day went, things that bothered me you know those little things we have a tendency to brush to the side and forget about, well I brought those minor issues up – all over a cup of coffee and complete relaxation on my part of course.
It’s amazing how good one feels after having talked about those little quarks of things that don’t really matter that creep up during the day’s events. This of course could develop into a complete suggested psychiatric therapy, recommended by doctors. Why wait before you fall into a depression, despair, anxiety, anger, mounting stress or frustration – call your friendly neighbourhood spammer, have some coffee and a comfy chair and talk your heart out. He’ll feel better knowing how well it makes you feel. And all for free –
The world will no longer be on meds or visit a family physician – mind and body – yep it’s all about mind and body and all to the thanks of your friendly spammer.
Oh by the way – I’ve also gave him notice of what time to expect my next call like this I just know his clock on the wall will from then on appear so much bigger and so much louder with anticipation. Afterall we don’t want our friendly spammer to forget how to tell time since he had the inadvertent error of calling during my supper hours, I have of course chosen a much better time when to make this next lengthy and relaxing call – something like 1:30 a.m.
Wish you all a very good and safe week
Huuugs and love
