I am eager to hear of "The Hunt" and what you found...
I had a Good day... nice walk, and the scales say I gained 2 pounds, but I did NOT... I do notice my shirt fits snugger thru the shoulders, so I suppose the Bells have added some bulk... at this point the scales are not of much use... I still have a bit to go before my goal, but I am Happy with my Progress... Pox on the scale... worthless digital thing... I went to three different digital scales at the Clinic and got three DIFFERENT weights varying by six pounds... truely worthless inventions...
I just finished a tofu pita sandwich (seee "My Kitchen" Post) and am ready to watch more "Terminator" Episodes... sooo...

But, I have this special place in my heart for you and absences don't mean that we're not connected or think about each other's families and what's going on in our distant worlds.
So now thatTHAT'S said...IT'S FRIDAY!!!! LOL! For me, that means Sci Fi Friday and this is my night to be Master of the television remote. I get to see pretend flying objects in space, stargates, transporters and alien technology! Gawd, life is good! Plus, CERN fires up soon!!! Maybe it'll clear out our Blog Tunnel and rebuild the tear in the space/time continuum that my stilleto caused. We plugged it with a bottle of Pinot Noir but it's still sucking out any pillows I've laid out for visitor landings. All we need is one, teeeney weeney black hole to replace our portal and all will be well again! Let's go snag one!

It will be Special in a way you may not have considered, as you will then assume an active rle in the Mornin' Ceremony, as you must enact "Dawn", and the Lagoon Ritual will be born with you as an intergal part of it, whereas you are more of a observer of the Spa's Ritual...
It will be VERY exciting, as you wait for the complete assembly and raise the canopy of "Night", no doubt followed by Master Murphy's acsension to the designated "Alter' for the "OHMMM"... ROFL...
All followed by your sprinkling of the Mornin's "Daily Bread"...
I suggest you select a piece of Classical Music to accompany the "Event", and when the Troop hears the Music, they will assemble in the customary "Blur of Fur", and inside the Students will know "Dawn" is comming as the familiar vibrations reach them...
I had a Good day, and am glad to have that matter completely off my Desk...
I just finished my last ABS and Bells workout of the week, and had "alleged Supper" and plan to read tonight, sooo...

 | lolol, goo goo to you too. We don't use a lot of artificial stuff. MrP likes diet drinks but doesn't drink them all day like some people. Probably one a day and one cup of coffee. I have slowly weaned him off two carbs at dinner by telling him I am cutting my own carbs by not having croutons or a bread with a potato. If I TOLD him to do it all h-e-double toothpicks would break loose. You just don't tell a man to not do something. He is a farm boy and likes his carbs but he does very well at monitoring himself. Sipping coffee and shaking head. um hmm, falls flat like a rock and gets under the rock. Heading out for awhile to burn some of that costly gas and emit some more Carbon Dioxide into the air. Pulls up socks and puts a rubber band around the tops. TTYL |
| Morning Wabbit and thank you for coming over and explaining about Aspartame. I have since read that there is a toxic substance in Splenda too. I don't use it except occasionally in something with jello or Crystal Light. When MrP has something sweet he has used it because of his diabetes. The natural sugar in fruits shoots his sugar up higher than actually eating something with sugar. So do beans and milk. I will be artificial from my diet. Scoots off in sloppy socks.
Oh, brought you some fresh fruit and coffee. Don't know if there are pesticides on and in them but darn! Just darn! |

Go for a walk-thru at a Lawn and Garden/Hardware store, and at a Toy Store, and at a Dollar Store in the "LOL (Little Ol' Ladies') Section", where they have knicknacks and brick-a-brac that is only ever seen adorning the tables and bookshelves of "Hobbit-esque" LOLs'...
Something(s) will strike your fancy for "Lagoon-scaping"...
I imagine there is, at this very moment, a great furry milling about in eager anticipation of their Breakfast and assembly for the "Morning Rush of Fur" to their Beloved Taiga Critter Spa, for Master Murphy's Mornin' Ceremony of Blessing... soon (unbeknownst to them) to be replaced by the "Mornin' Assembly" for the enactment of "Dawn" and Master Murphy's Blessing of the South Taiga Critter Lagoon... ROFL...!
I'm off in a little while to catch the shuttle downtown and transfer to the crosstown shuttle to the Attorney's Office to finalize the VA matter, and then I shall put it out of my mind and get on with the frivilous business of Life...

I know you will come up with something Wonderful for the students, because you understand they need to be able to "Hide" completely, and you will figure it out... I think your Creation at the Taiga Critter Spa farr exceeded anything I had in mind, and I imagine this will also...
I usually get some of my Best ideas by just walking through stores and looking at "stuff" and thinking of unusual ways I can use it, then going back and gettting this and that... everyone's Creative Process is different...
I'm headin to Buffy soon, as I must, yet again, get up earlieee... sooo...

| I'm glad you are considering them... they probably have them at any Lawn and garden joint... you can cut the pot (lengthwise from top to bottom, on an angle with a tile mason's saw) in any way you wish, so that it "appears" buried in the sand, when in fact it is only resting atop the sand... |

| You could take some enamel paint and paint it a rainbow of colors...

I was thinkin about the Students' Cave...
You could also take a big (unleaded) clay pot (the kind that are often used at entranceways for plants) and cut it with a masonary saw (you could stop by a joint that lays cereamic tile to get it cut) and drill circulation flow holes in it, and lay it on it's side to make a quick Cave, since mr Wabbit is busy on the roof... for a colorful Cave, you could use a glazed pot...

I also know the trees will be turning colors, and the landscape will soon become like a great bright quiltwork of Wonder... that's there, and in the Smokey Mountains, of course, not here in the swamp... there are two colors here: green and brown... GRRR... I do hopr some of the leaves have turned when I fly Home in a few weeks to visit and look around for a Home...
I'm up earrrly, as I woke even before my early setting on the alarm (won't need that after I find my Doggie eh') with an "inspiration" for a Bloggie, so I read some and made some notes, as I don't recall the Dream, however I place a LOT of stock on thoughts that spring from Dreamland...
